Inspired by the Fall Season!

Papers: Basic Grey, Indian Summer

Happy Tuesday!  Is it finally feeling like FALL where you are?  OH my!  Yesterday was the first day that felt chilly and crisp... well, until 1pm, then it was 80 again!  I am in Indiana, which normally by now I THINK is supposed to be cool ALL day, but that's Indiana weather.  They say if you don't like the weather in Indiana, just a wait a little while, it'll change!  Not sure if they mean it's unpredictable or if the weather just fluctuates all season long, all I know is that I am really ready for fall!!!!!!!!!

This week at A Crafty Little Place we are challenged to make a fall inspired card!!!  Using my Indian Summer papers (by Basic Grey) available at the DieCutsRUs Store HERE and my Cricut Cartridge of Flourish from WalMart I made this card!  A little bling by KaiserScrapbook (of course) and flowers by Prima (of course!) and ribbon by Prairie Bird Boutique (of course!!!) tops it off nicely!  It has been a long time since I made a card without Copic Coloring, I forgot how fast cards can come together!!!

I hope you pop on over to the challenge at ACLP this week!  You may just win the honor of being in our Top 3!!

Good Luck!!

Animal Crackers!!

Happy Friday-EVE!!!
Can you believe how fast these weeks fly by?
It'll be Christmas before you know it!

I thought I would share with you a terrific paper set by Die Cuts with a View... Animal Crackers!!

When you look at the paper stack cover, you may think "BOY!" only; but as you can see, there are definately papers that can be used for girls, too!!  For you scrapbookers who have children of both sexes like I do, this 12 x 12 paper stack is perfect for layouts! Besides the obvious masculine papers, there's even a few papers that are all pink, a pink/red combo paper with a monkey border, some pink hippos, a pink/brown plaid and another brown glitter dotted paper, too!  So, as you can see this set is very versatile!  Obviously, Animal Crackers can also be used (not just for scrapbooking but) for cards or altered items, too!!

Did you see that adorable Lollipop Gracie, by Lori Boyd?  She's so sweet!  You can have her for just $3.00 at the DieCuts R Us store HERE!!  I used my Copics to color her and added some dots on her dress to match the dotted paper!  FUN!  Flowers are by Prima and pearls are from KaiserScrapbook and ribbon is by Stampin' UP!

I hope my card gets your mojo moving and that you take advantage of Animal Crackers being on sale right now, too!  It's a wonderful set of papers and everything you make with it will be simply adorable!

Make it a lovely day!!

Florida Vacation Rental Available NOW!

My girlfriend Gwen is wanting to spread the word about a Florida condo (owned by her hubby's grandparents) that is up for vacation rental!!  Please read her blog about it HERE and click to see the video for the inside pictures!  It's a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo fully equipped and just minutes from the beach!

I hope you can help spread the word about this!  If they can get some renters it will help offset the expenses of this condo so they may keep it in the family and help their grandma financially!  I may actually have to look into this myself!!!!!

A RECIPE challenge!!

{{{Howdy!!  First I have to say
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my mom!
She's 45 again! HAHAHAHA!

but I am sure she won't mind me fibbing for her!
I hope your day is awesome and
of course your present is late,
but better late than never, right?
Go stalk the mailman in a few days!
I LOVE YOU, Mom!}}}

Some fun news!

Happy Monday!  And for once it really is!!  Normally Mondays are a drag for me... there's all that laundry and dirt that has collected from the kids being home for the entire weekend.  My kids live outside most of the time, so when the weekend comes so does the dirt.  Well, I have some fun news to share, hopefully it will bring a smile to your face like it did me!

Well, as you know I design for Claudia's 'A Crafty Little Place' challenge blog, right?  Well, now I get to use her digis even more!  She's been sweet enough to put me on her Digi-Team!  That's awesome news because I have been using these images on my Tuesday-ACLP Challenge posts, but didn't really have the cash to purchase some new or different images, so this was really an answer to prayer for me.

When I am lucky enough to be selected to be on a Design Team to promote a blog and products, I want to do my best!  But, that's really hard to do at times when you can't buy what your heart and head is inspired to use!  So, thank you, Claudia!  I am really looking forward to working with her UBER talented team, they are all just awesome, I am humbled to be put in the same group as them!  Be sure to check out the new team HERE and give all of the gals a little love!

See you tomorrow!

Seeing RED!

Claudia and Company is having a challenge to USE RED!  So, that's just what I did!  Lollipop AVERY is just so sweet and delightful, isn't she?  I just love her!  I used papers by Basic Grey (Sugar Rush, Die Cuts R Us has some of these papers from the paper line HERE) and a lovely double scallop punch by Fiskars to really give it that feminine touch! (sentiment is by Stampin' Up!)

Be sure to check out this month's challenge at Claudia and Company HERE!  You have plenty of time, the deadline is October 5th, just don't forget to use RED and a Claudia and Company stamp
