EarBLING Lampwork Dangles!

I am posting some Lampwork EarBLING for your sterling silver HOOPS that you have on hand, for those regular customers of mine... If ya need a pair of hoops, add $8.00 and I will send you a pair of sterling silver, lever-back hoops to go with. Then, all you have to do is slip on and off your ear dangles to match your outfit for the day!

NOW, these are dangles are made with ALL STERLING SILVER and LAMPWORKED beads (Glass Beads made by hand with a torch and rods of glass), so obviously they do weigh more than Swarovski crystals ONLY like I usually sell, but once you get used to them, they aren't that bad at all and you don't even notice them on!

If ya want'em, just email me and the first person who does gets them first; I can't make duplicates, so tell me ASAP if you want them for yourself! If I don't hear from anyone tonight, I will take them with me to the H.H. Gallery tomorrow (in Holland) and have them for sale there! I should be out there from noon to 5pm or so. I am thinking I need to have three blogs, one for family, one for jewelry and one for paper. What do you think? I mean, it kind of defeats the purpose of calling my business Anderson ArtSSSSSSS, since I wanted to encompass my love for ALL of my artsy fartsy hobbies... but I am thinking that it might make it nicer for those customers or friends who are just interested in one area of my creations, whether it be paper or beads. Purdue Boilermaker's KEYBLING!

Eli just HAD to give his teacher, Mrs. Weidenbenner, something Purdue-related, since her kids go to college there and she is a HUGE Boilermaker SUPPORTER!! So, I decided to make her an ever-popular KeyBling, of course! Black and Gold are also Jasper colors, too; so since she has been a teacher in the Jasper school-system for like EVAH, I am sure this will make her doubly happy!

Mrs. Weidenbenner just returned from a medical-leave in time to see the kids finish their 1st grade year, and BOY am I glad! Eli really has taken a liking to her and I can tell that he missed her while she was gone. She was diagnosed with breast-cancer earlier this year and had to take time off for radiation (I THINK). So, needless to say, Eli and I both were excited to see her return looking GREAT!

Details on the KeyBling... ALL Swarovski crystals in Jet Black and Topaz (orange) and Silver Shade; and Swarovski Pearls in Gold and Black, too! WEDNESDAY WINNER for February 11

Here it is! The next Wednesday Winner for February 11th! For you drifters and newbie-bloggers to Anderson Arts... this is a CellBling or BagBling or ScissorBling or ZipperBling! Personally, I think it is a little too fancy to just put on a pair of scissors so that noone accidentally takes your scissors instead of their own (for those scrappers out there), but if you don't have a cellphone with a little loop OR carry a purse OR EVER wear a jacket, I guess you could just put it on your scissors! HAHA!

This Bling is composed of a beautiful, deep orange-red lampwork bead (with swirls of light blue melted-in), sterling silver rope and daisy beads, and sparkley Swarovski Crystals in Indian Red and Light Azore. All strung on sterling silver wires which are then perfectly looped onto a 2 1/2" nylon black lanyard. YUMMY, isn't it??

Periwinkle Blue & Silver

Are you a blue-lover? I noticed throughout these posts this week, that I tend to make a lot in blues and pinks. Hmm.... I need to work on that! I think that I am limited in the other colors just for the mere fact that if I don't tend to like the color, then I don't know how to design with it.

Do you know what I mean? Do you tend to do the same thing?

I think we all tend to sway towards using colors we are comfortable with, right? I mean, I never ever use my SUP! Bold Brights color line with the Red, Orange, Green, Blue basic colors. In fact, I think I still have my original packs of bold brights from 3 years ago and am no where near needing to replace them!

Oh, well! I will pay more attention to trying different color combos! Until then, please enjoy this beautiful periwinkle blue and gray lampwork keybling! Lilac & Daisies

Daisy and Lilac flowers pop into my head when I see this fun keybling! These super cute lampwork beads had an odd combination with an almost orangey-yellow. So, since the Swarovski crystal orange color didn't quite match, I decided to pull the yellow out of the beads. I think the final result came out quite nicely! Obviously, not for the mellow or mild, this keybling is shocking to the eye and is sure to bring some comments AND compliments!

Sand and Surf

Beach lover? Surfer girl? Everytime I see this color combo, I immediately think of water and sand! Aquamarine and a variety of brown crystals by Swarovski (the finest crystal bead you can purchase) sure do sparkle in this OOAK keybling!

This weekend is one of three shows I have coming up this fall! So, don't fret, if you can't make it this weekend, I will give ya details on the others soon! Sapphire & Emerald KeyBling

Emerald and Sapphire gem colors are the main inspiration for this keybling! If you have a 'May' or 'September' baby (sister, friend, coworker) in your life, she would probably love this for Christmas! I don't know about you, but as I get older, I find it is getting harder and harder to buy things as gifts for people. Probably because as we get older we tend to acquire more and more each year, which makes us face trying to find something new or different for the person we love so much!

I am so glad that I have been blessed with 'creativity'! I can usually conjure up something even at the last minute, if need be. Seriously, that is something I am truly thankful for!

These lampwork beads in a serene blue and garden green really pull the Emerald and Sapphire Swarovski crystals together in this keychain! Nothing plated is used in this keybling! Rosey Violets KeyBling

VFW show this next Sunday!

Two new 'KeyBlings' have been added to this next weekend's show where I will be selling my artisan items!! If you are local, or even not so local, and care to come see me in person, I will be at the VFW from 11am to 3pm next Sunday!

Located on HWY 231N, just south of the State Police Post in Jasper, the VFW is easy to spot! I will be showing new items all week that will be available at the show! Check out my posts EVERYDAY (maybe even 2-3 times a day!) to get some glimpses of what I will be selling! Everything from keychains and bookmarks to bracelets, earrings and custom (made-per-your-request) items, I will be showcasing it all! I will also be drawing for a gift certificate, too! So, be sure to come out and get your name in on the drawing!

The first keybling here, (minus the keyring, I will add that later), is made of beautifully crafted black and white lampwork beads, sterling silver findings and super-sparkly Swarovski crystals in jet black, white alabaster, crystal clear and crystal silver shade. I love this one because of the way the crystals just look like they are dancing all around the keychain! TOO PRETTY This one is $38, tons of crystals, perfect lampwork and a lot of sterling brought the price up on this one! BUT, it is gorgeous!!

Two for the Show....

Here's two KeyBlings that will be up and showin' off at this weekend's art show! If I don't sell them you can get dibs on either (or both!!) if you email me first! I am making it simple and putting $34 on each one. I think the lighter of the two (on the right) is worth more than that because of all the sterling beads, but I am soooo tired from getting my items together and pricing and packaging, I am just throwing out a price at this point!

I had an exhausting day with Eli and KayLee at home sick, so today was not productive at all in getting things done. Talk about refereeing fights, I can only imagine what people were saying about me in the pharmacy! Anyhoo.... BUT at least they are fine with just some bronchial congestion and a cough or two. No fevers or painful ear infections, just some sore throats and runny noses and a Funny-Sounding KayLee's voice to entertain us!

Kiwi & Baby Pink KeyBling

Raspberry & Silver KeyBling

If you haven't heard already, I have a serious fetish for Raspberry ANYTHING. YEP, that is right. I will take raspberry-bribes for just about anything! (ask my hubby! HA HA! nah, just joking...) Raspberry shower gel, raspberry gum, raspberry and dark chocolate, oh my!

OH, did I tell ya that I took Josh to The Olive Garden a couple of weekends ago when we went shopping for his Senior-Picture clothes? Guess what I had? Yeah, I just couldn't resist the White Chocolate RASPBERRY Cheesecake. I almost didn't get it, but then Josh said, "Mom, will you leave here and then say in the car, 'I wish I had ordered that raspberry-cheesecake for dessert'?". I answered with an avid "YES!" so I ordered it up. Josh had to eat it with me, it was so rich!

Oh, yeah... the keybling... RIGHT!

Raspberry and Gray lampworked glass beads are just yummy in this keybling! I must say, these were nearly in my mouth! BUT, I controlled myself! HA! I love the added softness of the opaque gray glass in this set; I added Crystal Shadow Swarovski crystals along with the Ruby and Fuchsia crystals. Crystal Shadow is basically a silvery-inspired Swarovski crystal color. It is a clear crystal with a gray-finish, if you will. So it just sparkles!! Perfect for coordinating with sterling silver, too, which of course, is all I use!!

This sterling silver ring is ready to slide onto your existing keychain! BUT, only if Ms. K, in Florida doesn't choose this one from the two keyblings listed HERE and below! As soon as she chooses, I will post which two remain!

Pale Pink Sparkle KeyBling - SOLD!

Not knowing which color of pink, Ms. K liked best (see previous post below)... I pulled out this set of pale pink lampwork to string into a bright romantic-looking keybling. I incorporated a couple of cat's eyes beads and some small Bali beads into this one to really make the keybling have a lot of presence since the pink is such a rich, but light color. I used clear, light rose and opaque pink colored Swarovski crystals in this keybling that is sure to please anyone's eye when digging in the purse for those dreaded keys.

I love putting my keybling into my jeans' pocket and letting the dangles of lampwork and crystals drip out of the pocket and down my leg. If I don't have any pockets (when wearing a dress...) I just let the strands of sparkle peak out of my purse's pocket or zippered section. That way I will have a less-likely chance of losing them at the bottom of my bag. I HATE THAT! Ha Ha! Plus it saves time and keeps you from getting caught in the rain to have to dig deep for the escapee-keys!

OH, and I mentioned I would give you an update on the online store. WELL, I have found a site where I can offer my items for FREE! NO monthly charges, NO maintenance fees, NO 3% FEE when I sell an item, etc... SO, I mention this, because this is different from my original plan! This will keep my costs down, thus keeping your purchase price even LOWER! AND I know we all want that! Since it is a brand new website and I have been grandfathered in as one of the first people signed up to sell, I get certain benefits (which will in turn benefit you, my customers!), so once I figure out ALL of the details I am going to try it! They keep tweeking the site to keep bettering it; which is understandable. HOWEVER, I think I will begin when they have pretty much finished making their major changes. So, I guess until that happens, I should offer my goodies here! So, the remaining keyblings will be announced ASAP after Ms. K makes her final decision!

I know you all have been waiting since the beginning of summer, and for that I sincerely apologize! But that surgery really did set me back a whole month and this summer was just too crazy-busy with FOUR kids at home! OH, and believe me, the teen can be just as much trouble as the other three combined sometimes! HA HA HAAAAW! So, there's the update on the store!

Again, Ms. K has first dibs, but if she doesn't choose this one, you can have it! I will post prices of the remaining two after she chooses hers.

Triple Swirl!

Hello KIDDOS! I have been away from the computer attempting to finish up all of the outstanding orders from a month ago! When I returned from my mini-vaca in Chicago at the end of July, I was faced with a huge batch of orders from newbie and returning customers! WOW, that was so great! But, at the same time, wrapping up the end of summer and getting the kids ready for school and still attempting to do the cooking, cleaning and shopping (as usual), I didn't get everything done as quickly as I wish I could have.

Thank goodness I have wonderful, understanding peeps who understand what it is like to be busy this time of year, so I finally got it all done with happy customers in tow! YEA! Here, below, is the first of three keyblings that one of my favorite customers asked for me to make up for her review. Well, she actually wanted a keybing with pink lampwork.... SO, I dug up three sets of pink lampwork out of my stash and got them strung up for her!

This triple swirled set of lampwork is in eye-catching raspberry red, a mauvey-purple pink and a beautiful pale pink. I used Fuschia, Ruby and Rose Satin Swarovski crystals and sterling silver beads to make this keybling easy to find in anyone's purse! If this one isn't chosen by Ms. K, it will be available to the public. I am waffling on offering it NOW or waiting until the store officially opens. (THAT is a whole other story, see next post for the update on that scenario!)
