A MANLY SKETCH!

WOW, we are just zipping through these challenges this week!  I don't know about you, but I LOVE a good challenge!  And this one surely didn't disappoint!  Today's card is a COMBO challenge!!  Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays' challenge this week is to make something MASCULINE!  Fresh Brewed Designs is sponsoring this challenge and has a prize for you to win!  So CLICK HERE to see those details and other Masculine creations by the SSDS Design Team! 

I also combined the Masculine challenge with the LATEST and GREATEST sketch from Cardabilities to make this birthday card for a boy!!  How's that for tackling the challenges??

I used a super cute image from Meljen's Designs to whip this one up!  Some really cute jungle inspired papers by Die Cuts with a View along with a Stampin' UP! sentiment make this one so fun for a boy to receive on his big day!  Be sure to join in on these challenges if you lose your mojo, I know it always helps me!!!

Cardabilities #2!

CARDABILITIES has released their SECOND sketch challenge this morning!! WOOHOO!!  I loved working with this sketch because I am not a 'symetrical' kind of designer, I guess you could say.  What'cha think?

I used a MELJEN'S DESIGNS image called STUFFED ELEPHANT along with some papers by Die Cuts with a View to make this icky sweet baby card!  Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and ironically the perfectly coordinated ribbon flowers are from Michael's wedding section!  I cut out the baby bottle and safety pin from other papers from this paper line.  I overlapped the aqua ribbon with silver metallic elastic twine by Stampin' UP!.

Using Meljen's Designs TeaCup Mouse image HERE, and the Cardabilities sketch #1 BELOW, I pulled this gorgeous card together!  This card is a favorite of mine of late!  I LOVE IT!  This week's challenge at MELJEN'S DESIGNS is to use a 3-D element.  Well, I guess mine is more 2-D, but with all of the stitching, texture, bling, pop-dotting, I thought this qualified for the challenge!!!  Be sure to join in on the 3-D challenge HERE!  And when you are done, take some time to yourself and go shopping for some new Meljen's Designs Digis HERE!
