HAPPY 2010 ! ! ! !

Just a quickie POP IN to say Happy New Year! 

My parents are visiting for a Late Christmas/Early New Year and I haven't wanted to do much except spend time with them and the kids!  I thought I would post some pics of them opening their gifts!  Grammy and Grumpy also went in on the Wii this year, but wanted to give them something to open when they arrived a couple of days ago....

We have had a blast having Connect 4 Challenges! HA!  Operation is a hoot now!  There's MORE than just that nagging buzzer sound, so fun!!  Josh was camera-shy, but he was there accepting a monetary gift from my parents!

Here's me and my girl, KayLee, she's showing off her new robe!  She has been wanting a robe since her cousin got a robe LAST Christmas, so she's Ecstatic she got one finally!  AND a rainbow one at that!  Thanks, Grammy and Grumpy!

Even PEPSI, our so-called 45 lb. puppy got her own Christmas present (actually ordered it last summer, but my sister had been holding it for me since then!)  Pepsi LOVES her new Southern Living at Home pet bowl set.  This has been a blessing, let me tell ya!  She chews up the plastic ones if we leave them down, so this set she is really leaving alone!  AND I got it on a super sale clearance! WOOHOO!

Here's a pic of the view of our bedroom at Raccoon Lake (Indiana) where Scott's parents invited all of the entire family to stay for Christmas this year.  We were there for four days and three nights and there was more than enough room for our 10 adults, 3 teens and five little ones! SO MUCH FUN!  Thanks, PEG & JERRY!  My FAVORITE INLAWS! HAHA!

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!  You are just dieing laughing right now, aren't you!?  HAHA!  YEP, those Andersons... some funny family I married into huh? HAHA!  Thanks, Jodi (to the right of me in the red vest) for the awesome craft project!  We all had to make our own elf hat!  Notice my hat is a mistletoe hat so when I wear it, it is okay for my honey to kiss me! LOL! 

AND A HUGE SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO MY SISTER, KRIS, for giving me three awesome packs of Basic Grey Papers for Christmas! I AM IN LOVE with them and even made a card for tomorrow using the Perhaps set!  So come back tomorrow and see my newbie card! SEEYA!

THE AFTER....

For those of you who are wanting to see the "AFTER" of the "BEFORE PIC" POST from yesterday, here you are!

She may look happy now, but let me tell ya, she nearly CRIED when she saw all of her hair cut off!

And, after all that, she gets a sucker!!!!

Miss Julie DOES have magic scissors and managed to cut off her mullet and make KayLee into a MINI-ME !!!! Well, she doesn't really look like me at all, she's the feminie-spitting-image of her father, but at least she has a short, cute hairstyle like mine!

At least for now.... until she cuts it again!

I WON $1000.00!!!

LOOK AT THIS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! After seeing an awesome infomercial and feeling like I am stagnant at my current weight, I ordered Turbo Jam from Beach Body.com! I received it not too long ago and started working out right away.

(I LOVE THESE DVD'S AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, by the way!)

Well, they have this thing called WOWY, which stands for Work Out With You, where you go on a 'board', post which work out you will be doing and all the while see who is working out at the same time! And then when you are done, you come back say you are done and then you can chat with others that are done working out, too. I have never done the chat-part, but I do like how you keep track of your workouts on your calendar and also can make yourself a schedule in advance so you don't have to 'wonder' what you should be doing next time. You just log in, it will show you the work out you scheduled, then you go find the DVD for that one, pop it in and work out and then come back, post you are done, and that is it!

Well, guess what!? Every day they give away prizes, ipods, DVD players, digital cameras, camcorders, $300 and a few others, but ONCE a week, a $1,000 PRIZE is given to a winner and this week I WAS PICKED! Can you believe it??? I COULD DIE! I don't know who that coach is, in my pic below, he has never contacted me, or helped me arrange my workouts, but I am probably supposed to go to him when I have questions. I love Chalene in Turbo Jam and will most definitely be getting the Chalene Extreme when I feel I have met my personal goals and sustained them for 4 months or so. That may be light years away, but I am gonna try! I seriously can't believe that I won this money! I know they will take half in taxes, but I don't care, this does me TONS mentally to keep on track to lose this weight and get healthy every day!

Well, I am OFF to go workout! Then I will be out at the HHGallery today from noon-ish to 4pm or so! (See previous post for more info) Come out and see me if you can! I have been such a good girl I haven't tried the homemade icecream, the homemade keylime pie, Pineapple upside down cake or the coconut cake either! That would just sabotage my TJ workouts!! It is Eli's 7th Birthday TODAY, too! Needless to say, between the Easter Bunny's gifts, a new outfit for church (including new shoes!) and his new toys, he is ONE HAPPY CAMPER!!

Happy Easter, Everyone!! I just have to post these pics for those family members that live far away... or is it US that live far away? ANYHOO, Josh is at his dad's this year, so I just have pics of just the THREE crazies this year!!

Somewhere over my backyard....

....was this rainbow!! On Wednesday we had severe winds and a nasty storm come through Dubois County. East of Jasper, near Celestine (10 minutes away) they had tornado-like weather! AND even just yesterday on my way to the doctor's office I saw a huge tree totally uprooted and fallen over laying on the ground, just barely missing one house's roof-line by inches!

Well, just after the worst part of the storm went through, I looked out my kitchen window and saw this!!! Isn't it beautiful!? OH, and this is not photo enhanced! I just cropped it short on the left a little bit to make it square. Pretty, HUH?

I am still sick in bed, Isaac is at a friend's house for the day so Scott can go to work. AND this way I can rest and not contaminate him either!!

Halloween fun

I just went through some pictures that my dad took of the little ones on Halloween night. Isn't Eli just so handsome as Dale Earnhart Jr. Or is it Earnhardt? Oh well, he's cute! Obviously, KayLee is Ariel the Mermaid and Isaac is a colt, a baby male pony, of course!

I have been wrapping up orders, so I should post something more interesting soon! OH, maybe I will post the new ME tomorrow. I am going blond, unless I chicken-out!

Eli and Isaac's pumpkins.....

How HILARIOUS is the fact that Isaac's smirk is just like that of his pumpkin's?? HA HA!!!! That is just tooooo funny, if you ask me!

I am not too keen on 'scary' Halloween themes, but I do have to admit that Eli's pumpkin is way cool!

Family Fall Break Friday - 1st Annual!!!!!!!

Today's first annual 'Family Fall Break Friday' was deemed a success! We had entirely too much fun this afternoon carving our pumpkins! Of course, the kids didn't do the actual carving, because that would involve KNIVES! ACK! But, they did get to pick out their design and begin the actual carving by punching the little dots along the stencil's line. Then all you have to do is a dot-to-dot cutting along the dots to get your image.

KayLee picked out this one... which took me nearly two hours to slice and dice. But, boy was it worth it! Isn't this just too cool? I love how the bat looks like it is flying out of the word 'or' and how the 'I' in 'trick' is dotted with a moon. AW!

Josh's Senior Portraits

Senior Pictures sure have come a long way since I was a Senior in 1989. Nearly 20 years later, my son is graduating from High School (May 09) and having 'Senior Portraits' is a must. Around here in Jasper, folks put out an easy grand on their kids' photos.

NOW I KNOW WHY.

Look at these! How can you NOT want to purchase them ALL??? If you know Josh, or not, let me tell you that he is the most shy 18 year old around. And for these natural smiles that I see all the time at home to be put into print makes my heart sing and my tears fall. I can hardly believe that he is as old as I was when I met and married his father. Although our marriage ended sooner than later, I have to say, that Josh is such a beautiful person, inside and out. I just wish he would let others see these smiles, grins and smirks more often.

Enjoy these pictures if you can avoid seeing the word PROOF across his forehead, chin and cheek. While I totally understand why they do that, I have to tell you, that L & L Photography didn't need to for me. I am more than willing to pay them for their time and talents of taking such beautiful pictures of my son and would never even think of trying to steal these images by scanning, copying and printing them out for myself.

Happy Birthday, MOM!

My mother's birthday is today! ANDDDDD, since she is all about the bling, I sent her some of course! BUT, it hasn't arrived yet! So, I am just going to post a picture of her BLINGY card! She hasn't seen this one yet either! So, when she DOES see it here on the blog, she will get her card from me on time! HA!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I colored Sassy Suzy with my Copic Markers (CLICK TO ENLARGE AND SEE DETAILS), I used some of the left over paper from the last Wild Asparagus set I used and posted for you all to see (scroll down....). I also used the same Martha Stewart Glitter and a BLINGY Rhinestone flower and a Prima flower sandwiched in between. A little stitched-baja breeze ribbon makes it feel like a present! AND, don't you just love the sentiment!? HA HA!!

Damage by Mother Nature

Mother Nature must be PMS'ing or something! HA HA! Take a looksie outside my back door! I live next door to a park. You will see two trees totally twisted up and gone! Such a shame, too, these were beautiful shade tree that blocked a lot of the sun in the afternoon.

Notice that our yellow slide is all twisted around, too! You can tell from what is LEFT of the tarp, it will need to be replaced next summer. Oh, yeah, and that IS our pool that has been blown into a tiny mound next to the park's fence.

You can see both trees in the park that fell down in the second picture. ((CLICK on the pictures to see them enlarged)).

The third picture is our shed being hit with a large broken-off branch. I am so happy that my beautiful trees didn't blow down, I would have cried!

The fourth picture is a closer up picture of the tree farthest down the park near the midway point of our lot. I guess it is good that only HALF of the tree fell down. Maybe the other half will survive. I guess we will see.

The final picture is of our apple tree. I hope the deer come tonight and eat up those apples! They are just too tart for me to eat, although I do catch my hungry kids attempting to eat those sour apples at times!

Thank GOODNESS we are all okay and the roof's shingles stayed on this time!
