Mummy Sneaky Peek!

Hi my PEEPS! HAHA! I am in a SUPAH mood! WHY??? Well, this darned ankle is going to get some attention on FRIDAY! YEP, that is right! I am getting these awful screws out of my ankle! They think these screws are what is causing my problems in my foot! "Symptomatic" so to speak! SO, under the knife I go again! BUT, I am happy about it! This ankle can't get much worse in my opinion!

On to the ooootsie cutesie card! Ms. Whimsie Doodles, otherwise known as Melyssa, the designer and creator of WhimsieDoodles is releasing a new batch of digital stamps tomorrow!!! Here's a sneak peek of the VooDoo Mummy Set! Make sure to CLICK HERE tomorrow to see her store full of new stamp sets and the entire collection of Melyssa's digital images that are available, too!

OH, before I forget, the Sketch is a MOJOMONDAY sketch, #93 I think! And the paper is some DSP from SUP. Images and sentiment are colored in with COPIC markers and the oval and scalloped oval is by Spellbinders (Nestiblities). Ribbon by HobbyLobby and brads by MM!

Hope all is well with you and yours!

SheetLoad Inspiration #5

Another YORKIE for ya! Ain't she the sweetest??? CLICK HERE for the link on where to purchase her at JessicaLynnOriginal.com! This has been one of my most favorite sketches to have come up with for SheetLoad of Cards! I have really enjoyed being a part of the SheetLoad blog and family! I am not even sure when it was that I joined! I know it has been at least a year now which is just crazy to think about!

I used the nestibilities BLOSSOM for the flower die-cuts, Prima Flowers for embellishing and some old MME papers for this wonderfully Autumn-Inspired card! I think I am going to send this one to my friend Kelly since she has a yorki-poo named Toby! Hee Hee!

This is a short post, I need to get moving so I can wrap up my Whimsie Doodles NEW RELEASE cards coming up on October 1st! You are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE these awesome digi's that Melyssa has made for us this time! She is so creative with those digi's it kills me!

Come back soon to see a SNEAK PEEK at SheetLoad's next issue! Another HOT issue, with an awesome sketch for getting tons of those Christmas cards made up in time for mailing!

Blessings on your day!

In His Time

Good Morning, Ladies! I finally had the chance to use this wonderful Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps stamp set by Chris Dickenson called IN HIS TIME. These butterflies were as fun to color as I had hoped! I used some Lime Ricky paper by Basic Grey to compliment these butterflies that were Copic colored in hues of pink and orange. This sketch is from SplitCoastStampers this week, SC247.

I glue-dotted the bodies (only) of the butterflies and bent the wings, so that they would add some dimension when the card is pulled from the envelope. IN HIS TIME has some beautiful sentiments and verses included in this set. Be sure go to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps STORE HERE to order your own!

Have a Great Day!

I'm a SugarBaby!!

Another exciting team has come to fruition and I have been blessed to have been asked to be a part of it!! I KNOW! Can you just die?! ME TOO!

Korin, the owner/operator of SWEET 'N SASSY STAMPS has decided to tweek her sketch blog THE SWEET STOP! She has added an exclusive design team to share their talents and creations each week using the current sketch! And she actually asked ME (YES, ME!) to be a part of this team! I am so honored and flattered to have been asked, to say the least! {THANKS AGAIN, KORIN!}

I need to be honest here, it actually brought tears to my eyes! YES, I believe I actually wept! I know some people don't think it is a big deal, but for me, it really validates my love for what I do! Korin has put an awesome team together (not saying that because I am on it, of course) with some uber creative and artistic gals, so I am sure we won't let her or YOU down!

I hope you join me each week with your take on the sketch! Doing this could possibly even earn you the chance to be a monthly guest designer and also win some free Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps product! Oh, and did I mention that you don't have to use Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps product ONLY to play along? That's right, you can use what ever stamps and supplies are in your scrap room! Just follow the sketch!

Be sure to check out the FULL TEAM at left in my side bar under the badge for THE SWEET STOP or just CLICK HERE to be taken to the blog right now! Check in on Saturdays to see the new sketch for the week! If you would like, leave a comment or zap me an email so I can check out your blog, too!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Scroll down to see another post from earlier this morning. I wanted to post this cute little squirrell to be sure you didn't forget about the free digi opportunity, but I don't want my card below to get over-looked! It is a favorite of mine. A more simple style than I normally do, AND it still came out nice!

A SPECIAL POST tomorrow,
don't miss it!

SNSS: Blessings!

Are you sick of seeing the Porcelain Set by Basic Grey yet?? LOL! These papers are just gorgeous in my opinion! I am a LOVAH of browns, yellows, peaches, rusts, etc., you know, EARTHTONES! So, in as much as this paper set has tons of pink and green, these papers here are by far my favorite! {Don't forget you can get them at Precious Scraps! Just email Bev and tell her you found her through me!}

Another perfectly stamped cross from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps' Elegant Blessings Set is highlighted on this card perfect for giving to the MIL at Thanksgiving! Adding the ribbed ribbon and a dab of a glittered brad makes all the difference to this card, IMHO! I used my nestibilities for the oval and scalloped oval! Gotta love nestibilities!

I only have a few more days as Guest Designer with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! It surely has been fun and I will surely miss working with this wonderful family of crafters!

Thank you for checking in with me today!

SheetLoad Inspiration #4

Jessica Lynn Original .com has a ton of owl-inspired images that you need to GO SEE HERE! She calls them Brentwood Stamps, so go see that category for tons of adorable owl-images!

I have always loved monochromatic cards like this one here. All muted and soft, but with just a SPOT of color (in blue and red) that really offsets the card and really showcases what you want the card to 'say' to the recipient. I really wanted the owl to stand out, so I surrounded it in a sky blue color and used bright colors in the flag, too, because I certainly didn't want that flag to get lost, even though it is so small!

I used my nestibilities circle and scallop circle and stamped squares on the plain green moss paper to give it some texture. An assortment of brads in coordinating colors pulls it all together and really keeps to the SHEETLOAD of CARDS sketch in the September issue. If you haven't downloaded your free issue yet, then be sure to go do so! Oh, the papers are by Basic Grey (available at Precious Scraps), for a full supplies list download your free issue at SHEETLOAD of CARDS!

Be sure scroll down and check the last two posts to see how you can WIN two free stamps sets by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and one of two digi sets by WHIMSIE DOODLES!!

CHECK BACK IN TOMORROW!

Sketch Challenge

WHIMSIE DOODLES is hosting their monthly sketch challenge beginning today!! Here's the sketch below. I would have had a card for you to see in this post, but Josh's car died (thinking alternator) and I ended up having to take him back to Indianapolis (where he's attending college 3 hours away!) yesterday afternoon. I had it scheduled in my mind AND on my calendar to work on this card challenge after he drove HIMSELF BACK, but since that didn't happen, mine is missing! LOL!

SO, ANYHOO.... CLICK HERE to see the rules on the challenge and how to be entered TO WIN SOME FREEBIE DIGI'S!!

I'm off to work on this card and start a NEW CAR SEARCH for Josh! It's gonna be a busy busy day!
Make it a SUPER day!

SNSS: Have Faith & a sketch to try!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps' Elegant Blessings Set is my favorite Christian-Inspired set! These crosses are gorgeous and the sentiments cover just about any occasion from sympathy to celebration!! Are the crosses a bit 'celtic' to you, too?

Of course, this card is made with Basic Grey's 6x6 Porcelain set again, (available at Precious Scraps!) of course! I can't help it! I was asked to feature this stamp set along with this paper set for the Christian Paper Crafts magazine that just came out in print a few weeks ago! I think these papers and stamp set DO make a great combination, though!

Check out Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps to see their other wonderful Christian-Inspired stamp sets! You will see that their prices are REALLYYYYY reasonable and you can even choose a very inexpensive way to ship if you aren't in a hurry! SO AWESOME!

This card has a simple sketch to it! Keep the sentiment centered at bottom, a ribbon/knotted bow (or other embellishment) at lower right and the center of your main image (this being the large cross) at top left! This type of composition is what keeps your eye moving around the card due to the items being balanced! This is an easy one, I hope you give it a try!

Have an AWESOME SUNDAY!

Saturday, September 19

It's a whimsical kind of day!

HAPPY SATURDAY! Today I am sharing a few cards that I created over the last few days using WHIMSIE DOODLES digi images. The first one is actually a FREE IMAGE (comes with the Berry cute sentiment, too!) available to those who subscribe to the Whimsie Doodles Newsletter HERE! Isn't he cute? I just love coloring, too, those Copics are fun!

Silver twine and hardware are by SUP, oval diecuts are Spellbinders Nestibilities and the rhinestone brads are by Making Memories, I think. I have had them for awhile, so I am guessing on that one. Go sign up now to the Whimsie Doodles newsletter HERE and get this BERRY cute digi emailed directly to you! It is a great way to see if you like digis in case you have never tried them, too!

This next one is using a new digi set called HAVE A SEAT! You need to check out this entire digi set! For just $4.99 you get 11 (WOW!) images that you can use over and over and over ANDDD in different sizes to suit your creating needs!! I used my exacto knife to cut these images out and Kaiser Scrapbook pearls for a decorative touch. The retired paper is by Stampin' UP!

More retired SUP paper, I point that out because it never fails that when I don't mention the paper, I get emails about it! HA! This set is called FISH TALES and I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with this set! Another $4.99 set featuring 15, yes. your read correctly 15!!! images! I LOVE DIGI's!!

Whimsie Doodles images are just that, WHIMSICAL! I love this Mermaid; she is so fun to color! I don't think you can see it, but her scales and sleeves are glittered up with a spica glitter pen and her flower has stickles on it. I colored the sea horses differently to represent the different genders, I guess I should have made one larger than the other, too, to be really accurate! HaHa!

Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing these WHIMSIE DOODLES digi's! I know I had fun creating them for you to see!

Enjoy your day!

Friday, September 18

Take a STROLL! It's a BLOG HOP!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has me hoppin'! Blog Hopping that is! If you landed here by accident, then why don't you start from the beginning? Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps AUTUMN STROLL BLOG HOP started on Wednesday so go back to the Sweet 'n Sassy BLOG for more links to their designers' blogs to see everyone's beautiful FALL creations!

For my card below I used one of SNSS's new digi images called PICK OF THE HARVEST and believe it or not, it is just $3.00!! It comes with three sentiments, TOO! Here's one of them that I used inside of my card. The papers here are from Precious Scraps store! They are from the "Grow" line by My Mind's Eye.

This sketch was inspired by The SWEET STOP's SSS21 sketch from last Saturday, I was originally going to have the card going landscape, but the digi was too tall (poor planning on my part!) So I just turned it sideways and kept to the rest of the sketch as close as I could. This is why I love sketches, you can easily use them to just inspire you when you lose that creative mojo!! I used Copics for coloring, oval scallop nestibilities and a strip of Hobby Lobby ribbon in similar colors to pull the card together. The SWEET STOP will be posting a new sketch tomorrow, so you may want to remember to check that out in the morning!

Thanks for checking in on me! I hope you enjoyed your visit!

Blessings on your day!

For Mary....

It's a great day! My son is coming home from college today! I haven't seen him for a month! That is the longest we have ever been apart and I have to tell you that I miss him so much! So, having him home for the weekend is going to be sweeeeet!

Josh was smart to arrange his schedule so that he has Fridays off with no classes! While this would be great for long weekend trips home, I think this is the first and probably last one until Thanksgiving. He got a part-time job working at Conseco Field House in Indianapolis, so I am sure the weekends will be spent making money WHILE enjoying concerts and sporting events and other exciting things, so I am going to enjoy the weekend to its fullest with him while I can!

I made this card yesterday for a friend of mine. She is recovering from some medical issues and I wanted to send her a card with this puppy image on it. This is what MY dog, Pepsi, actually looks like and she is the one whose dog had the litter including my puppy! I expect she will find it cute AND appropriate, too! The papers are retired and the stamp is from Man's Best Friend by SUP.

I will be back tomorrow as the last STOP on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps 3-Day Autumn Stroll Blog Hop! So be sure to get inspired by everyone's new fall creations by beginning HERE at the SNSS BLOG! It will surely get your creative juices moving if you have fallen in a rut!

Get Well Wishes to you, Mary!

KayLee's picture day 2009-2010

Just had to share my beautiful daughter with you guys! Even after she cut all of her hair off, SEE THIS POST HERE ABOUT THAT, her smile still shines and makes her prettier than ever! You may need to click on the second picture to see it, but her jeans have SPARKLES in them! So cute! I wish they could have gotten THAT into the picture!

While I love ALLLL of my four children, I am so glad that I got at least my one daughter. Although there is DAILY DRAMA, she really brings me so much love and sweetness. When I am sad, she pats my leg, when I am upset, she tells me it will be 'okay'. I am so blessed to have her.

Love you, KayLee Jeanne!

SheetLoad Inspiration #3

Using SheetLoad of Cards' September sketch, I came up with this gift for my daughter's friend, Haley. Ironically she is the daughter of the doctor that did the surgery on my foot, so of course I had to make something extra special! No $10.00 Barbie for her, NOooooooooo, I wanted to give her something that she would keep for a good while. I called her mom for the colors of her bedroom and she told me pinks and purples, so VOILA!

I used Basic Grey's LILYKATE paper set. This is an older paper line by Basic Grey but just REEKS of femininity!!! So, I just had to use this set! {NOTE: IF you LOVE LOVE LOVE Basic Grey papers, then get in touch with BEV at Precious Scraps! She has tons of new lines and other new items coming in daily to her scrap store, so if you are trying to find something, email her and see if she can help ya out!}

I switched up the sketch by SHEETLOAD OF CARDS just slightly by putting the 'Haley tag' at right, but all in all, I think this is a beautiful Monogrammed piece that Haley can eventually even take to college! NOT too 'young' I don't think, so I hope she enjoys it for years to come and every time thinks of my daughter who gave it to her at her 7th Birthday skating party!

Have SUPAH DUPAH DAY, Y'all!

Tuesday, September 15

Whimsie Debut!

Whimsie Doodles just released two new sets today! Here's a couple of fishy images and a fishy sentiment from just one of the sets called FISH TALES that even features a seahorse, jellyfish, oyster, mermaid and more! You need to see this set! It is adorable and very affordable at just $4.99!! I used Basic Grey paper (the Two Scoops line) and a few dew drops to mimic air bubbles! Copics for coloring and an exacto knife to cut them out for easy pop-dotting application! Make sure to check back for a mermaid card soon!

One of the other newly released sets is a Halloween inspired set is called HALLOWEEN BITS & BITES with pumpkins, bats, a skull, a cat, a crooked tree and more! Make sure you go see both HERE at the Whimsie Doodles STORE!

Have a super TUESDAY!

SheetLoad Inspiration #2

Actually, the title is a fib. There, I said it, I lied. HAHA! This is actually the FIRST card that actually inspired the September sketch at SheetLoad of Cards. (I just posted them out of order.) I put this card together for my parents anniversary last month {OH, and today is my Mom's Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!!} and thought it would be perfect for a SheetLoad of Cards issue! So, I sent it to Alicia and she okay'd it for the current issue!

I love the mixture of sizes and shapes. Circles, rectangles, ovals, OH MY! I love this paper, too, has this worn-look with buttons on it and itty bitty flowers, perfect for a soft anniversary blessing! I think the paper is by Crate-Paper; if you really need to know, comment on this post and I will dig into the paper stash and figure it out. It is a couple years old, so I don't know if you could find it at your LSS, but you never know! OH, and the image/bird and sentiment is by Stampin' UP!, in case you didn't know!

Back tomorrow with DEBUT DAY AT WHIMSIE DOODLES! Go see the WD blog to get in on a chance to win some NEW RELEASE free digi's and get a sneak peek on the new images! I always get so excited for Melyssa when she gets to show off her new Digi sets that she has worked over painstakingly for HOURS! This is sure to be something you don't want to miss, so head on back tomorrow!!
Enjoy the day!

Saturday, September 12

FREE DIGI!!

Isn't this DIGI STAMP ADORABLE? Melyssa is giving this digi FREE to new subscribers! Check out her POST HERE to see how you can get it! Sorry for the late posting. I was working at a Women's Retreat at my church today and when I got home I had to ice my ankle and keep it elevated... I hope I don't have to return to the crutches tomorrow!

Now go get that FREEBIE!

SNSS: Technique for ya to try!

I am not a scrapper. I need to put that out there right away. This way, hopefully you will be kind in your comments about my page featuring my Curly KayLee daughter! HAHA! At least I try ONCE in a while!

You can barely see it, but in the top right and lower left corners I used a portion of the cross that is available in Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Elegant Blessings stamps set. I used versamark ink on the top portion of the cross to add some texture to the corners. OH, and I was able to line them up so well because, uh, HELLO! these are CLEAR STAMPS and you can see where you are putting them! LOVE THATTTT!

Again, these papers are by Basic Grey available at Precious Scraps... I KNOW, can you tell I am a HUGE fan of BG? These are from the Porcelain series 6x6 pack. OH, I guess I should tell you not to be fooled, this is a 6x6 page, not a 12 x 12! The title was printed out using my computer, love doing that for titles in lieu of stamping sometimes! Prima flowers, assorted brads and KaiserScrapbook rhinestones for embellishing!

The Elegant Blessings set at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps features two crosses and a variety of Christian influenced sayings, too! I just wanted to share this page so you can see another way to use an otherwise 'regular' stamp in a different way!

I am really enjoying being a guest designer for SNSS this month! Their clear stamps are wonderful and very versatile, especially if you think outside of the box like I did with this page above! If you have a way to use a normal stamp in a non-traditional way, comment here and maybe I will try your technique next time!

Hugs & Blessings on everyone's weekend!

SNSS: Serve the Lord

Good Morning! Can you believe the weekend is in sight? I am working at a women's retreat at my church all day Saturday, so mine is surely going to be a busy one! At least on Saturday, that is! Sunday I am going to need to recooperate!

Using SCS's sketch challenge #242 from a couple of weeks ago and a couple adorable of digital stamps by SWEET 'n SASSY STAMPS , I made this pretty little notecard which is perfect for a quick 'hello' to a friend! Aren't these papers gorgeous? These are from the My Mind's Eye 'GROW' set (available from Precious Scraps! Just email Bev and she will set you up!) and the deep orange is some retired paper by Stampin' UP!

I used Copics for coloring, dew drops for texture and some pop-dots for dimension on my notecard. The digis are available HERE for Miss Betty, the birdie; and HERE for the bird house! Right now they are just $2.25 a set and NO SHIPPING obviously! They are DIGITAL!! You know I can't say enough about digi stamps!! So versatile! Oh, and these sets come with different sentiments as well, so that is awesome for just $2.25! Reusable AND resizeable!!

I hope you have a great weekend! I will be back tomorrow with another creation! But GASP! Can you believe it is a scrapbook page! I KNOW! SHOCK SHOCK!

Have a SUPAH DAY!

SheetLoad Inspiration #1

This cute little Yorkie is available at JESSICALYNNORIGINAL.COM! They were the sponsor the this month's issue you SHEETLOAD of CARDS. My gal pal, KELLY, has a YORKI-POO, so when I got these stamps in the mail to use for this month's issue I just about died! Looks so much like her new puppy, Toby! AW! YES, this SheetLoad issue has the AW-factor going on! You can download your own FREE monthly e-zine each and every month at SheetLoad of Cards! I know, it is very hard to believe that something that is SO AWESOME is FREE, but it IS TRUE!

This Yorkie is from the Yorkie Fall Set #3, CLICK HERE to see it and order your own set! The papers are by Basic Grey, I am thinkin' possibly LILYKATE, but not sure! SORRY! I made this like FOREVER ago it seems! BUT, if you really need to know, just download your own copy of this month's SheetLoad Issue HERE and you can get all the details on the supplies, right down to the little rhinestones!

You can also check with Bev at Precious Scraps HERE to find out all of the new Basic Grey sets she has in stock right now, some items may need to be back ordered, but it usually doesn't take too long to get your items in! Bev is MORE than workable and does her best to accommodate any special request!

I used Creamy Caramel paper to match the Yorkie and to offset the lighter pastel patterned papers. Copics for image coloring; scallop rectangle and square embossing were made using SpellBinder's nestibilities and the paper flower is by Prima, of course!

You DO KNOW WHY I said 'of course', don't you? NO? UH, well, did you see the picture/link to my Prima STASH in the left side bar of my blog?? yeah, it's embarassing. {snicker snicker!} You can see that and also tour my craft room on those links, too, if you would like to nosey around for a bit! I don't mind, you know!

Tomorrow brings a new Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps card! Be sure to check back in with me!

Hope today treats you well!

Happy Labor Day!

Happy Labor Day to everyone! Are you enjoying your extra long weekend? I have been taking this weekend to get caught up on outstanding orders, shipments and work up some Design Team posts! Here is one for WHIMSIE DOODLES! I love this Whimsie Turtle guy, he's so cute! AND did I mention that he is FREE? YEP, if you have never tried digi stamps before, just head on over to the WHIMSIE BLOG and find him in the side bar. NOW you have NO EXCUSE to not try out digi stamps!

I used some old My Mind's Eye Tres Jolie paper ("Mother" set) that I had been hoarding and put it together using the SplitCoastStampers Sketch Challenge #SC442. I originally didn't have the Prima paper flowers on there, but thought it needed more than just the Dew Drops at bottom right. I am glad I added the flowers, gave it an extra punch of color and texture!

I used my Copics for coloring and a little organza ribbon for a soft touch. This card can be used for any occasion with the absence of a sentiment, but I think I know what I am going to use it for! Can't tell ya! Maybe it is for you!

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend!

Sketch Challenge: Leave Me Smiling

Good Morning! Today IS Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Sketch Challenge day at THE SWEET STOP! Click on over to THIS BLOG HERE to see the latest sketch SSS20 and play along!

For my card below, I used a Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps DIGI Stamp! Ain't this little bear the cutest raking up those leaves? AW! {CLICK HERE to purchase him and a few sentiments that go with him!} As soon as I saw him I remembered this old (and retired) paper set I hadn't used but just one time way back when! Perfect for this image and all the fall colors, don't you think?

This sketch is a yummy one, so easy to play with! If you know me, it takes me FOREVAH to make a card! Well, this sketch had me done within an hour from start to finish! {YES, believe it or not, but a card UNDER an hour is good for me! LOL!} I used my Copics for coloring, Nestibilities for oval and square diecutting and embossing. ! A little dab of Hobby Lobby ribbon knotted to the left balances out the Dew Drops (by Robin's Nest; available from Bev at Precious Scraps) up at top right!

I used my Spellbinders Nestibilities to cut out the sentiment from the cardstock and to frame it with an oval scallop Nestibilities die that matches the card-front....

I thought I would take a close up shot at the digi so you can see the detail in the digi stamp! Cute, huh? This Leave me Smiling Bear is just $3.00 and comes with four sentiments, too!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous day!
Back tomorrow!

Friday, September 4

The Sky's the LIMIT!

Is it FRIDAY already?? WOW! And the beginning of a three day weekend at that! WOOHOO!

Here's a simple card that I just made this afternoon inspired by the SheetLoad of Card's September sketch! I used my Whimsie Doodles' Sky's the Limit sentiment with one of the Sunny Day images for this one. A cupcake hot air balloon! How does Melyssa come up with these images? She's so creative!

I hate to cut this short but the weekend is about to begin with the kids getting off the bus, so I better run and take the dog out for a little walk. Well, it's more like a 'roam' since I still am clubbing it around in my walking boot. At least I finally got rid of the crutches a couple of days ago. Can you believe it took me a MONTH exactly to the day of my surgery to get rid of those crutches? UGH!

I will see you tomorrow, I have a card all ready for you using tomorrow's sketch challenge at The SWEET STOP! Hope to see you!

Enjoy your weekend if I don't hear from ya!!

When Life has you down.....

FINALLY!! I am able to show you a card that I made way back in March using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps ELEGANT BLESSINGS set!! I was holding this card back until the Christian Paper Crafts Magazine was published since this one is featured in there! SO, since it has, I am free to share my items with you! OH, from what I understand, this ELEGANT BLESSINGS set is on backorder right now, but will be available again at SNSS. This set is what made me initially FALL IN LOVE with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

I used to think that clear stamps didn't stamp well and give enough ink-coverage. Well, SNSS proved me WRONG!! I LOVE their stamps! High quality and awesome inkability!!

The papers are by Basic Grey; these are from the Porcelain 6x6 pack of papers. I mention this, because in the 6x6 pads of paper the patterns are condensed. Ok, I bet that was as clear as mud. BG didn't just take their 12 x 12 papers and cut them into 6x6 sheets. They actually reduced the size of the pattern and then printed those out! I LOVE IT! You can get these papers at Precious Scraps by contacting Bev! She also has all of the accessories that go with the BG sets, so be sure to rake in all of the embellishments and chipboard while you are there!

OH, if you can't read the sentiment, it says, "When life has you down, look up!". Isn't that great advice?? I think so! Be sure to see ALL of SNSS' Christian inspired stamps and digi's as well!

SheetLoad ready for download!!

For the Sweet 'N Sassy BLOG HOP,
go to PREVIOUS POST BELOW!!

As I mentioned earlier today, it is time AGAIN for the new issue of SheetLoad of Cards - September 2009 - sponsored by JessicaLynnOriginal! I came up with a great sketch for you to try in this issue, using different shapes altogether! Hopefully it will really get your creative juices MOVING!! When you make something with the sketch be sure to keep a picture of it before you send it out so you can enter it into the drawing later this month! I always hate it when I send something off without taking a picture of it first!! UGH!

Head over to the blog today to download your FREE copy! There are tons of cards using the sketch 'as is' and also cards that used the sketch as initial inspiration but then put their own 'spin' on it! They are all great! Don't forget to put me in your favorites so I can remind you about this month's chances to win prizes from the sponsor!

Enjoy the rest of your evening!!

Don't be fooled! The penguin is the same exact size on these two cards!! I didn't want to confuse anyone here with these pictures!!!!!!! The top cards is a typical A2, 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card featuring the newly released mini-stamp-set called WADDLE I DO by SWEET 'n SASSY STAMPS! Available today for UNDER $6.00! How's that for a deal!?

He's just the CUTEST little thing and so fun to color in using my COPICS!! His scarf was touched up with a glitter pen, but the picture doesn't do it's sparkly justice like you see in person! Oh, well! Maybe I can use that as an excuse to get a new camera... HAHA!

The paper is some old MME Tres Jolie paper set "Cousins" I believe. I thought that the patterned paper looked similar to those ski-style sweaters you wear on the slopes! And I simply made the wavy sentiment tag by rounding the corners on one end and snipping the other end, and I colored it all over (was originally white) with an off-white Copic to match the dotted paper.

Below, this 5 x 7 card is using the SHEETLOAD OF CARDS September sketch from their debut ISSUE from today! Download your FREEEEEEE issue now! For you newbie readers, I am also a sketch artist at SheetLoad of Cards and this month I got to design up a fun sketch for you to try! SO, download your issue and get to creating a bunch of cards using limited supplies!!

This paper is by Basic Grey, Dasher maybe?? I just used a variety of brads in the center of the poinsettia to bling it up and a corner of red brads to draw your eye up and keep moving around the card to allow some balance, otherwise it was pretty 'bottom-heavy'. I don't make 5 x 7 cards often enough, but if you think about it, this could be put into a little frame for decorating, too! Maybe I should make this size for my Christmas cards this year! A forever keepsake for those recipients!!!

Be sure to check out all of SNSS designers' blogs today to see their creations using this stamp set and another set of a SnowMan! For a complete list of the designers' blogs CLICK HERE!!

Don't forget to download your free issue of September's issue of SheetLoad of Cards HERE and also pick up this cute Penguin set HERE! There are other sentiments that you come with the penguin, too, that makes this set even MORE flexible! LOVE THAT! You get so much for your money with this set! I love it when I get use out of a set for more than just one occasion!
