PLEASE READ! IMPORTANT INFO! BLOG CANDY!

As I announced last Monday, I am changing the URL/http: of this blog tomorrow!  DO NOT LOSE ME!  Add yourself as a follower, or put me in your favorites today!  You can always remove yourself as a follower later!

This blog will change as of 10:00 PM eastern time MONDAY NIGHT.

Tomorrow on this blog, there will be a BLOG HOP for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!  And in order to not confuse the people involved in the hop on such short notice, I decided to change the blog tomorrow NIGHT!  This blog is currently andersonartsonline(dot)blogspot(dot)com.   THIS is changing, and all posts will be transfered to:

GOTTAHAVEPAPER (dot) BLOGSPOT
(dot) COM

Make note of it!  OKIE DOKIE!?

EVEN MORE IMPORTANT INFO for TOMORROW...........

Tomorrow is the DEBUT of my JEWELRY & GIFT BLOG!  YEP, believe it or not, I am ON TIME for ONCE in my life!  It has taken some long days and long nights and A TONNNNNNN of jpegs, but it is up and ready for your review tomorrow at 7am or SOONER!

The Jewelry & Gift blog is:

AGAIN, make note of it!!!!

Did I mention BLOG CANDY!?!

OH, yes I DID!  Over at GottaHaveBling, there will be BLOG CANDY!  I won't tell you what it is, but it is worth your while heading over in the morning!  Get ready to tell your friends and neighbors, because if you do, you get even MORE chances to win!

That's it!  I have been working on the debut for the past 48 hours straight, minus sleeping of course!  And there's tons to see and tons for sale!  I look forward to picking up the jewelry line again after nearly a year off.  From my son graduating high school in May to some medical issues that went sour, 2009 was NOT a pleasant year for me and it did NOT let me craft beyond my card-making; and even THAT suffered somewhat, too.  So, I really look forward to creating more jewelry and gifts and taking custom orders, too!

SEE YOU TOMORROW!

SSS41 Sweet Stop Challenge

HHHHHHAPPY SATURDAY!  Can you tell I am in a VERYYYY GOOOOOOD MOOOOD??????????

Whimsie Wednesday at Paper Craft Planet

WOW, this week is FLYING!  Yesterday was crazy, but fun, with all the kids at home due to our unexpected snow!  And I did manage to get this card made for this week's Paper Craft Planet challenge at the Whimsie Doodles forum!!

Doesn't this image remind you of Joey on "Friends"?  SO FUNNY!  That Melyssa, she's silly!  She designs up the 'pun'niest sayings!   Did I mention that you can get this image FREE???  YEP, just join the Whimsie Doodles Forum and you can snag it for yourself!  OR if you would rather shop around go to the Whimsie Doodles store HERE!!  I bet there's tons of things that will tickle your fancy!

I used the Stampin' UP! tab punch to connect my two individual circles together.  And I wrapped some ribbon into a bow around that, too.  These pictures don't do the card justice.  The sky is really blue and the ground is green and the word 'EWE' has blue around it.  It's pretty cute in person!  Maybe one of these days I will get a better camera!  {hmm... my birthday IS in less than a month... }

Well, now, why don't you head on over to the PCP group HERE today for some chattin' and sharing!?  If you would like to play along, I guess you should know that this challenge is to make a card that is not the typical 'square' or 'rectangle'!  Hence, my circle!  I hope to see you there!

Enjoy your HUMP DAY!

SNOW DAY

We ended up having unexpected snow overnight, and since the roads were not prepped for snow, we had 25 accidents before 8am!  SO, they cancelled school which is putting me at home with my three little ones and the neighbor boy, so don't expect anything from me today! LOL!  Wish me luck that I don't end up tied to a chair and gagged! LOL!  Back tomorrow with a newbie!

Enjoy your day!

ICS50 Blowing you Kisses!!

HAPPY MONDAY!!!!  WOW, what a productive weekend!  I won't tell you all that I got done this weekend, gonna keep that up my sleeve, but wow, let me tell ya I AM SMOKIN'!! LOL!

I DO have a change that I will share, though!  Beginning on February 1st, this blog url/http link is going to change.  As of February 1st, the name will no longer be {AndersonArtsOnline(dot)blogspot}; it will be {GottaHavePaper(dot)blogspot}!  If you are a follower of this blog, no need to worry, you will remain linked to me.  However, if you just have me in your 'Favorites' list in your browser, you may want to go ahead and add it, if that is even possible.  I will remind you later in the week.

WHY this change?  WELL, originally this blog featured more than just paper, I had jewelry, gifts, a crocheted piece now and then, hence the ARTS part in the title.  Since I am only featuring cards/paper crafts here, I thought I would change it.  PLUS, I have a blog for my jewelry and gifts, which is {GottaHaveBling(dot)blogspot}, so keeping it consistant, I took the 'GottaHavePaper' too! HEEHEE!  I am looking forward to this change, for some odd reason, maybe because it feels like a fresh start!  NONE of my blogposts will be deleted, no worries there, so that is cool!

OK, that is the ''info'' part of my blog post, now onto my CUTE CARD that I made for today's post over at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps digiblog HERE!  I used a new image that came out a couple of weeks ago called BLOWING KISSES, which features this teddy bear (in full length) and three sentiments!  Just $4.50 for the entire set; perfect for Valentine-Card-making, don't you think?  Begin NOW, because Valentine's Day will be here before you know it!!

My papers are from the 6x6 pack of Basic Grey's Sugar Rush and bling by Basic Grey as well!  The sketch is inspired by yet another new sketch challenge blog that I have just found called INSPIRATIONAL CARD SKETCHES; this is my take on ICS50, I switched it up a bit, but I like it!  AND if you see below, I am adding a new feature to my card-posts, I am taking pictures of the COPIC colors that I used in creating that card.  So, maybe this will hope those newbie Copic colorers out there!

Well, that is all for now!  I have a BUSY few days ahead of me, but will be back for sure on Wednesday, if not sooner!!  If you ever have a question, please comment on a post or send me a personal email!!  HUGS!

Make it a MAHVELOUS MONDAY!

CPS #150

Card Positioning Systems has a new sketch up HERE, #150.  I used that as inspiration yesterday on my card you see above.  I used a new digi out by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps called HEART PRINCESS.  I girly'd it up with some beautiful pink and blue Prima flowers, some sparkly light blue rhinestones by Kaiser Scrapbook and then used my Copic markers to color her in to match my Stampin' UP! papers.  I left the top empty because of all the busy-ness about the card in the bottom.  Leaving the top empty gives your eye a place to rest and keeps it a bit more balanced, at least I think so! LOL!

This card was for yesterday's Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps digi day at PaperCraftPlanet.  The challenge was (and still is!) The Frog and the Princess!  You can upload and share any creation using a princess or a frog or both!  If you do so, you will get some digis for FREE!  CLICK HERE to see how to get your freebie digis!

See you tomorrow with a newbie card for The Sweet Stop Sketch Blog!!!!!

Have a SUPAH DAY!

I KNOW!!  GET OUT, RIGHT?!  AND the best thing is that you don't have to own Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps first to get to play!  Of course we would like to see those SNSS images, but if you don't have any, just use whatever frog or princess image you already have!!

CLICK HERE to see what all the commotion is about and also see below the images that were released today at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!  Korin is holding a MASSIVE, HUGE sale at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, too, so be sure not to miss out on that!

The Sweet Stop SSS39

HOWDY PEEPS!  AH, SATURDAY!!!!!  I love Saturdays!  It is the only day that I get to sleep in, so that is why I am prescheduling this post to go up Saturday morning EARLY while I sleep instead of me actually posting it! LOL!  Sneaky ME!

This week's sketch (with a SPIN!) SSS39 at THE SWEET STOP really challenged me!  You all know I am a bit 'off' (HA!) which is probably why I never create anything symetrical!!  And it didn't help that I fell face-forward down the stairs on Thursday!  So, please forgive me for my card today!  It is a bit simple, even for me!  But not everything has to have layers and be fussy, right?  Just agree with me so I feel better! LOL!

SSS39 was to have a spin of JUST a sentiment, NO IMAGE!  GASP!  It's okay, really, settle down now! Shocking right?  I know!  I hadn't created a card without an image in like FOREVAH!  So, that probably also didn't help me in meeting this challenge either!  I ended up using this sweet yet sassy saying from Stampin' Up's  HARD TO SAY stamp set.  Cute, huh?  {Click on pic to enlarge} I also have been wanting to use this Ambrosia paper set by Basic Grey, especially this butterfly paper, but never knew what to use it with!  Well, VOILA!

I do like how it turned out, I guess.  Simple, clean, good colors, followed the sketch, too!  I think that bonk on the head stirred up some drama in my mojo, but it was great getting back to the basics of sentiment only cards, I had nearly forgotten how to do them!

See you tomorrow!

Friday, January 15

You Give Me Wings

Good MORNING!  I thought I would share a card that I made for last week's Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps ScrapbookNews&Review challenge, you can find HERE! {And take a good look at this because I am going to be pulling it for publication for the SNR E-Zine later this week! WOOHOO!}

I forgot to post this one along with my KOALA one {you can see HERE}.  Our challenge was to use red and pink, so a color challenge!  I used this new digi stamp that was released last Thursday called ALL MY HEART on a SplitCoastStampers Sketch Challenge #261 from a couple weeks back.  This stamp set has two different hearts and quite a few sentiments to go with!  Such a steal!  Remember, with digistamps you can make the images smaller or larger depending on what you are making!  SO VERSATILE!

Today marks ANOTHER digi release, too!  Each Thursday Korin, fabuloso owner of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, releases TWO new digi stamps!  Aren't they adorable?!

Here's my card using the new stamp set PUCKER UP!   I also used this week's SplitCoastStamper's Sketch SC263 for this card!  Papers are by Basic Grey, from the June Bug paper line, Copics for coloring and various ribbon by Hobby Lobby, Stampin' UP! and Michael's and Nestibilities for oval and circle diecuts.

Be sure to check back NEXT Thursday for the Paper Craft Planet CHALLENGE!  There is friendly chatter, and some free giveaways, too, so you don't want to miss out on this one!

Enjoy your day!

Wednesday, January 13

It's another Whimsie Wednesday!

WHIMSIE DOODLES is hosting another Whimsie Wednesday Challenge at PaperCraftPlanet!  Not to confuse you, but my picture today is for last week's PCP challenge!  HA!  I guess you could say that I am posting a weeeee bit late!

Well, as they say, Better Late than NEVER, right?  Last week's challenge was hosted by KELLI and she challenged us to KEEP IT REAL!  We were to replace something in our creation with something real!  Well, I couldn't exactly replace the candycane on the Whimsie Turtle image, but I did color the candy cane like the ones that my kids gave to their classmates for Christmas!  So, that works, right? HA!

OH, and if you are wondering, NO, I did not color in over 40 Whimsie images with my Copics!  First, I don't have that much time on my hands and second I wouldn't want to use up all of my Copic ink doing that!  I simply took one image, colored it in, scanned it, brought it into my photo editing software, added the sentiment/text and then made copies of it off of my printer!  From what Eli and KayLee said, their friends all loved the tag and their teachers did too!  SO FUN!

For this week's PaperCraftPlanet challenge which begins today, ALICIA is challenging us to create a WINDOW card!  I have seen some of the designer's cards and they are really fabulous and worth a trip to see them HERE under Challenge #14!!  Hopefully I won't be a full seven days LATE this time! HAHA!

OH, and if you would like to have this image (above) totally and absolutely FREE, all you have to do is join the Whimsie Doodles PaperCraftPlanet group HERE and pick it up!  Doesn't the sentiment remind you of Joey on Friends?  How EWE doin'?  HAHAHA!  I hope to see you there!
Have a super duper day!

Be Mine!

Happy MONDAY!  Was your weekend as eventful as mine?  I had to let my son head back for his second semester of college on Saturday.  MAN, talk about being a WRECK!  I don't know what my problem was, but I was worse that morning when he left than when he first left for college in August!  So, I had to take the rest of Saturday to just rest up and pray a lot.  I trust that the Lord is watching over him, but I guess it is just hard still since I am no longer there to even just talk to him everyday.  I married out of high school and Josh when I was just 19, so having him for half of my life now, we are very close.  AND there's something to be said about a mother-son relationship, I think.  A bit special, I guess you could say.  ANYHOO!  I am all better now and had some crafty time and conjured up this card for the SWEET 'N SASSY DIGI BLOG today!

Cocoa's Be Mine IMAGE HERE is paired up with this sentiment from another digi set called ALL MY  HEART.  I think it is perfect for this Cocoa image, don't you?  SO SWEET!  I used this weeks sketch SSS38 from THE SWEET STOP sketch blog; same as my froggie card from Saturday (Scroll down and see below....).  This is an EASY yet challenging sketch, is that even possible?  HAHA!  Make sure you check out these and the rest of the awesome stamp images from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps STORE HERE; the prices are phenomenal and the quality is spot-on!  AND if you get some of your own crafty time this week, play along with us at THE SWEET STOP, you could just be next month's guest designer!

Have a great week!

{Papers are by Basic Grey and I used my Copics for coloring and a Stampin' UP! punch for the sentiment}

Saturday, January 9

Sketch Challenge!!

Here's my SSS38 card for  The Sweet Stop Sketch Blog!!  This week's sketch is almost so easy that it is difficult!!!  Ever have one of those situations?  I tackled it and finally got this!

I used some bold Merrakech papers by BG and a scrolly diecut from Quikutz and my UBER CUTE image is by WHIMSIEDOODLES!  This froggy is from a set that you can FIND HERE for just $5.00!  There's five other images in this set that coordinate with this one and all are perfect for Valentine's Day!!

I also submitted this to CUTE CARD THURSDAY #94 for using a brand new digi and also these papers are at least new to me! LOL!  Hope they like it, too!!!

I hope you join me over at THE SWEET STOP!  Show us your cards or layouts using the sketch by linking up to Mr. Linky!!

Have a great day!

SNR Challenge Day with SNSS!!

SERIOUSLY!!  Is this cute or WHAT???? HA!  Mr. Koala sending a love note?  HEEHEE!  I bet my sister likes this, she was once fond of Koala bears...  I used this adorable 'just released' KOALA stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for my ScrapbookNews&Review challenge card today!  Today's challenge is a COLOR challenge: RED AND PINK!  To see the full details of the challenge AND to play along to get a free digi, too CLICK HERE!

You know, it is funny when you think about it... Blue, light blue; Green, light green; Yellow, light yellow.... Red, PINK.  NO, not light red! HAHA!  So, you would think they would go 'together' like the other sets, but not so much.  We hardly ever see clothing with red and pink together if you think about it!  AND the same is true for orange!  Light orange is peach or apricot, I guess, but you still see those together in closing and home decor.  But when it comes to Red and Pink, I guess the contrast is funny to us for some reason and we don't put the two together as often!  I LOVE this paper by Basic Grey!  These are from the Nook and Pantry paper set that my Mom gave me for Christmas along with the Eskimo Kisses!  Just love these sets!  {Thanks MOM!}

The sketch layout is a MOJO MONDAY sketch challenge from this week, and was this a CHALLENGE FOR ME! WOW!  For some reason, I just couldn't work it as easy!  Guess that's why they call it a challenge!! HA!  If you ever get 'stuck' go there for some great sketches!!  I also entered this for CUTE CARD THURSDAY!  A new sketch blog to me that I will keep in my sidebar for your inspiration!  Their challenge is to use something new!  Well, this IS a new DIGI!!!!!!!  Hope they like it!

Be sure to join me over at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps CHALLENGE at SNR!  There's sure to be chatter, free digi's and a bunch of beautiful projects shared!  Hope to see you there, I will be waiting for ya!

Blessings on your Thursday!

Cocoa has the right idea!!

It is the first Monday of the year! WOOHOO!! Are you looking forward to what this year is going to bring you?  I am so eager to have 2010 come into my life full force!  Last year was NOT "my year", to say the least {due to some minor medical issues that went sour and worsened}, so seeing 2010 on my calendar gives me such a refreshing feeling!

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it has been for me to be associated with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and the wonderful women that come along with it!  These gals are just so sincerely supportive; and not just with my creative efforts, but with personal ones, too!  So, please allow me to THANK Korin, Sandy and ALL of the wonderful SNSS designers for being who they are!  Their prayers and caring emails are such a blessing to me and I just wanted to let them know!

OH! MY CARD!! HA!  Yes, Cocoa (which you can find HERE!) certainly is smart!  Look at him all snuggly between those mittens!  Yesterday when I woke up it was 5 degrees!  YES, FIVE!  NOT much fun to look at when you have a big new dog that needs to be walked quite often!  So, this digi came to mind right away when thinking about my card for the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps DIGIBLOG today!  I used some retired SUP paper in some wintery cool colors, some Basic Grey bling and 1/2" white organza ribbon to make this one simple and sweet!!

I hope you all STAY WARM today and I wish you all the best in 2010!  May God bless you and make this the best year EVAH for you AND yours!

Happy New Year!

The Sweet Stop SSS37 Challenge!!

Happy New Year!

My family and I are enjoying having my parents here for a late Christmas/New Year's Eve celebration, so the cards are slacking right now, but I will be on the mend by next week!

The kids go back to school on Monday and so I am sure that will help my schedule a bit!  At least I hope so!

My card above is for this week's Sweet Stop sketch blog SSS37!  I don't know why the sketch isn't showing up larger, but you can click on the SSS37 LINK to take you to the Sweet Stop to see it in full!  Sorry about that!

I used some WONDERFUL Basic Grey papers called Perhaps that my sister gave me for Christmas {THANK YOU, KRIS!!!} and I used a just released new digi-image by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps called LOVE BIRDS that you can find HERE!  Copics for coloring and WalMart rhinestones for that bling and some Big Lots ribbon!  I made my birds look a bit different from each other so they would look like a boy and a girl, of course, heehee!

Be sure to check in on The Sweet Stop and see all of the newbie SugarBaby Designers that are joining us for the first time!  AND be sure to check in on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps DIGI BLOG HERE to see more cards using the LOVE BIRDS digi!!

Have a great day!

HAPPY 2010 ! ! ! !

Just a quickie POP IN to say Happy New Year!

My parents are visiting for a Late Christmas/Early New Year and I haven't wanted to do much except spend time with them and the kids!  I thought I would post some pics of them opening their gifts!  Grammy and Grumpy also went in on the Wii this year, but wanted to give them something to open when they arrived a couple of days ago....

We have had a blast having Connect 4 Challenges! HA!  Operation is a hoot now!  There's MORE than just that nagging buzzer sound, so fun!!  Josh was camera-shy, but he was there accepting a monetary gift from my parents!

Here's me and my girl, KayLee, she's showing off her new robe!  She has been wanting a robe since her cousin got a robe LAST Christmas, so she's Ecstatic she got one finally!  AND a rainbow one at that!  Thanks, Grammy and Grumpy!

Even PEPSI, our so-called 45 lb. puppy got her own Christmas present (actually ordered it last summer, but my sister had been holding it for me since then!)  Pepsi LOVES her new Southern Living at Home pet bowl set.  This has been a blessing, let me tell ya!  She chews up the plastic ones if we leave them down, so this set she is really leaving alone!  AND I got it on a super sale clearance! WOOHOO!

Here's a pic of the view of our bedroom at Raccoon Lake (Indiana) where Scott's parents invited all of the entire family to stay for Christmas this year.  We were there for four days and three nights and there was more than enough room for our 10 adults, 3 teens and five little ones! SO MUCH FUN!  Thanks, PEG & JERRY!  My FAVORITE INLAWS! HAHA!

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!  You are just dieing laughing right now, aren't you!?  HAHA!  YEP, those Andersons... some funny family I married into huh? HAHA!  Thanks, Jodi (to the right of me in the red vest) for the awesome craft project!  We all had to make our own elf hat!  Notice my hat is a mistletoe hat so when I wear it, it is okay for my honey to kiss me! LOL!

AND A HUGE SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO MY SISTER, KRIS, for giving me three awesome packs of Basic Grey Papers for Christmas! I AM IN LOVE with them and even made a card for tomorrow using the Perhaps set!  So come back tomorrow and see my newbie card! SEEYA!

Happy New Year!!

Howdy!
