Sometimes those naps can be downright demanding. Mine usually hits me hardest on Sundays. Afterall you've been through a lot this weekend. Well' I for one will gladly wait .
I have been crafting 2 years now. It started off as something my teenage daughter and i could do together and enjoy our mother/daughter time. This past August she moved across town to go to college and that 22 miles seems like 222 miles for her now. She hardly comes home anymore and she hasn't crafted with me in a year. I prefer to craft with her. It's a lonely hobby now but one I will continue. I crafted thank you cards tonight. Not traditional ones,2 are made from toilet paper tubes and 2 are made from library pockets.
Thank you for your awesome giveaways. I enjoy following your blog. My blog hopping addiction is my way of interacting with others.
Enjoy your new van, ms.cheryl

I have been paper crafting for almost 2 years. And to be honest, I have no idea how I got started. I was kinda interested in college, but with not having my own space or the time, I gave up. After I got married I wanted to try getting back into it, and with my amazing hubby encouraging me to buy this and that and get started, it quickly went downhill from there...

I don't know how many years, really. It's been off and on since I was a teenager. Mom got me hooked when she took up stamping back in the 80s. I gave up most of my papercraft hobby and supplies when I went to college and for a few years after, but got back into it about 8 years ago. I've only been doing the "new stamping", as I call it, for a few months. Back in the 80s, my stamping was pretty basic with a little embossing on the side (with an old clothes iron, no less!)

So now are you sorry you asked? LOL

Hi
I've been Paper Crafting On and Off for Birthday cards for about 4 years I'd always make them for my nieces and family lately I've become alot more active in it and found there's so much to play with ... I curse my scrapbooking store with all that pretty paper and I'd have to say my sewing has improved alot since if you mess up on paper you have to recut and redo lol and it helps that there are all those challenges out there to pop new ideas in your head to create even more :)
Thank You for the chance at your surprize contest
Nikki

Congrats on the new van! I have been paper crafting for about 3 years now. A friend got me started by giving me one of her hand made birthday cards. I loved it so much, I had to give it a try, and have been making my own cards and treat bags...etc. ever since. Thanks for the chance to win.

I started scrapbooking back in 2001 when i was for the first time in my life forced to be on vacation. I was on 12 weeks of maternity leave and i had no idea what i was going to do with my time besides take care of the little one. So i took the plunge and step into my first scrapbook store. I have never looked back. I have always felt i had a creative side but never really figured out what it was until i started scrapooking. I also dabble in card making and doing altered stuff to. can not wait to see the keychain. have a great day

LOL you make me giggle DAILY! THAT is why I come back, though the give-a-ways are FABBY!!
I guess it has been about 12 years ago that I bought my first stamp from a co-worker's D.O.T.S. party. It was a tag, and I used it to make tags for gifts...LOL! About 5 years later, I went to another party...Stampin' Up and FELL IN LOVE!! I have been "faithfully" stampig and cardmaking for about 6 years now...since joining my first online Swap group...go figure..
That's my story. Thanks for all you do to inspire!

Rubber Hugs,
Julie

Oh, Nicole, you are awesome!! Don't feel bad...sometimes life just happens! As much as we'd love to just spend time doing the things we love, we have other responsibilities as well. I don't think it would be socially acceptable to work on our hobbies all day and neglect our families! You don't have to give away anything, yet here you are, kind enough to share what you have, and I think that is awesome! :)

I started papercrafting about 7 years ago when I attended a CTMH party. I became a consultant with the intention of getting a discount so I could start scrapbooking. Well, I've been collecting supplies ever since then--LOL!! I have made cards, and do make bridal shower and baby invitations for my church (around 60 at a time). Now, I'm finally starting to scrap book, thanks to Beverly for opening Precious Scraps just a few miles from where I live!!

I've been a crafter my whole life, but really got into paper crafting about 10 years ago when I began making cards for the nurses at the hospital my dad was in before he passed. I then found the overwhelming and exhilerating world of scrapbooking. When my kids came along, I found I had very little time to make whole SB layouts, and once again turned to cardmaking. I felt a sense of accomplishment when I could finish an entire project in less time than it took for the baby to take a nap. I also enjoyed the feeling of sending smiles to people. I knew that when my work was shared, everybody got to enjoy it, not just me. All my wonderful friends online have helped me tap into my creativity and have both challenged and inspired me to become better.

Hi Nicole, Happy for you on getting the new van. So exciting. I have been papercrafting for
45 years! I started a scrapbook when I was like 12. I always made birthday cards and Mother's and Father's Day cards and made my own paper dolls. We couldn't afford store bought and my Mother's Dad worked in the Paper Mill in Jay, Maine. He brought us a pack everytime he came to visit us. Thanks for the chance to win a surprise. :)

Greetings Nicole~
What a fun blog you have...
I have been cardmaking for exactly a year (2nd workshop attended was during Sale-a-bration last year)and I've been inky ever since.
I've always wanted to focus on a hobby that combines handiwork and home decor and I'm finding stamping does!
Congrats on your new van! I'm also a mom of 4 (ages 4 to 19) and there is nothing better than getting a new people mover!

Thanks for sharing!

i've been paper crafting for nearly 10 years; first traditional scrapbooking, then rubberstamping [mostly cards], then more advanced stamping [projects, alterabes, scrapbooks, etc.]. i went to a CM party for a friend, and became hooked. i've always crafted to some extent however.

congrats on the new vehicle. we've been looking for the right deal for months :)

I crafted as long as I remember myself, I adore to create, but I opened scrapbooking for myself regards to my newborn daughter, I liked to embellish her sweet photos. I’ve discovered the world of scrapbooking about a 2 years ago. Wow, how can I live withought it? But the journey across the blogs even scare me sometimes: I realize that my life is too short to embody all the inspirational ideas…

I have been making cards for about 12 years now. I started out just using pretty photo's from magazines. Then I was introduced to rubber stamping. Then I was introduced to Stampin Up. That is when I really started making cards. Then I found Splitcoaststampers and I have been addicted ever since. I find it enjoyable and relaxing. It is my 'me' time. Most of my friends and family now are into cardmaking too.....gotta spread the love.

I started stamping in 1990 when I was invited to a D.O.T.S party, which is now Close to my Heart. I didn't really have anyone to stamp with or show me how to put a stamp together. so I dabbled thru the yrs. until I moved 4 yrs. ago from Terre Haute, IN to Newburgh, IN. I was invited to as SU party and that was it, I was hooked. I still order SU as well as PTI (Love them) and anything that isn't stamping. My techniques have gotten waaaaaaaaaay much better and feel more confident.

Thanks for the chance to win. Alice R.

Howdy!
